What can I see and do at the Front Street Gazebo?
As the seasons change, so does the entertainment that is available at the gazebo. All year long, different singing groups and individuals are invited to perform in a variety of Leavenworth Gazebo shows.
- Summer: From May to September, bands such as Alpen Folk and Bonnie Birch Trio perform almost daily to serenade visitors and locals alike with lively music and a festive atmosphere.
- Winter: As Christmas draws near, the gazebo becomes the center of yuletide celebrations. It is the perfect viewing place for the decorated storefronts. Starting the first weekend of December and continuing on every weekend until Christmas, Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas and Santa Claus are available to greet children with treats, performers sing holiday anthems and visitors can watch the Lighting Ceremony.
- Other Seasons: The city of Leavenworth is continually updating their website to give a comprehensive list of visiting artists as well as show times for the rest of the year. The Gazebo is open to the public for pictures, as a meeting place, or a nice area to sit, relax and eat or drink.
